Had a good conversation last night about the WHY of things. In order for a project or product to be truly successful, it must address real wants or needs. So exactly what need does this party answer? Well… one thing… people will be coming to the Health-Healing-Happiness event and learning about how to treat their body temple better, then boom! The day is over. It’s Friday night and where do you go to put this information into practice? Knowledge without application is NOT KNOWLEDGE.

For the out-of-towners, Sin City sure has a lot of fun things to do on a weekend night, but most involve hard-core drinking, eating non-organic foods, and other illicit activities. Not that there is anything wrong with that, but…. where is the place to rejoice and shine and burst forth in loving organic orgasmic ways?!?! We must create the space that encourages continued co-learning of Longevity practices … eating and drinking healthfully maybe combined with a little lymphatic movement (aka dancing).
In addition, there is a huge local crowd interested in learning more about Vegetarian-Vegan-Paleo-Alternative Health ways: Witness the huge recent attendance success of Vegas Veg Fest! But after that event was over, where did people go? Where could they go chill out and discuss what they just experienced? Where is the clubhouse? Where IS the late night gathering spot to let the message gel together? There was/is NO place… until now… We will address that need and create a safe fun interactive energetic after-party space.

As far as sponsors go, HOW do you reach deep into the heart and soul of your intended audience? How do you get your message out through a lasting emotional experience? You can try to communicate through online media or print media… But there is nothing like throwing a party – colliding with your consumers and becoming not just their supplier, but connecting as their friend.

Hollywood knows this well. WHY do you think they throw out-of-this-world ‘wrap parties’ at the ends of shows. Because they’ve got money to burn and like to throw parties? NO! It is a valid and tested PROMOTIONAL EXPENSE. They do it to get and keep the enthusiasm going so that everyone involved with the project will tell their friends how great it was. Hopefully that will translate into sales for the actual entertainment product. It’s called BUZZ!
As a personal aside:
Anyone who was at the ILM SIGGRAPH party Richard M. Nixon Library one fateful night will know exactly what I mean. They will attest to the fact that it changed their lives and made lasting devotees of the company that produced it. It was a night that lives in infamy… I saw Timothy Leary ranting about the future! I saw Fishbone pee on stage! I was in the Brazilian conga line that gallivanted around the Nixon reflecting pool and watched Jurassic Park while the Red Hot Chili Peppers drowned out the soundtrack! I have never forgotton: ILM.
It made me realize just HOW important creative life-changing social occasions can BE.

So here is how we have restated the WHY of the RAWket Chocolate Frolic! I sincerely hope you will get on board with this vision and mission.
Party with REAL Impact!
A spoonful of sugar makes the medicine go down. When folks who are not health-oriented (yet) see how much fun and delicious raw (and/or vegan and/or organic) chocolate is – they just might start thinking about changing their diets!
- Get people to be HEALTH-curious! Expose folks to raw, living and minimally processed foods in a light-hearted and playful accessible manner!
- Let Loose with the Juice! Give people the opportunity to let loose and have a blast without feeling the overwhelming pressure to drink or consume harmful “Sin City” substances. By offering unique interesting elixirs to imbibe that will raise spirits – we WILL raise consciousness! (Martinis mixed with healthy elixirs are also in order!)
- Transform lives! Your hosts have produced numerous fun events before. They know how to get people to interact and open up to once-in-lifetime experiences and good times – that subtly transform lives…
